Globus HR Advantage is a confidential HR Peer Support Group that meets once a month in both  Dorset and Hampshire

In our members groups, HR Managers & Directors of SME's meet once a month to solve problems, evaluate opportunities and work on an assortment of strategic and operational issues in a private and supportive environment. 

Every month we offer a limited number of      Free half-day Taster Sessions

These taster Sessions are our way making sure that we are a good fit for each other. They are available in either Dorset or Hampshire. We are confident you will benefit from engaging with like minded professionals.

Sarah is passionate about developing others to be their best. With a career spanning corporate, SME’s and owning a consulting firm, she is able to share her expertise both as an HR professional and MD.

Sarah works with many clients in Hampshire & Dorset and has observed first-hand the need for HR Managers/Directors to have a Peer Group that will not only develop skills and knowledge but confidence to contribute at a strategic level.

You will arrive at your venue and be greeted by your chair, Sarah Hamilton-Gill, and enjoy refreshments, including fruit and pastries. (We choose venues for ease of access and parking as well as a great environment for learning).

The members will then introduce themselves ( when there are new members) and the chair will outline the structure of the day.

Prior to the meeting you will have been emailed to let you know the key topic for the day, so that you can give this consideration and prep and also ask you to think about an “Issue” that you would like the support of the team to discuss. We have an Employment Lawyer and a L&D Director as part of our expert panel.

We have a break for lunch, so that you can catch up on day to day calls and emails as well as a light buffet lunch.

The afternoon is where the magic takes place with the team coming together to brainstorm members’ issues and for the combined experience and knowledge to be shared. Issues don’t need to be work related but they are normally.

We wrap up the days actions and offer feedback to the chair and discuss the key topic for the next meeting.

Once we have a full group ( 12 people) we will run a team event using a range of profiling and team activities to increase self-awareness and to model team awareness processes.

Our guest speakers join us throughout the year and we also have workshops on topics agreed by the members.
